Authentic learning is central to our work as Catholic educators because it promotes the continual growth and wellbeing of the whole person; spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically.

We encourage our students to be active participants in their learning by collaboratively setting learning goals, providing opportunities for student choice, engaging in independent needs-based learning, self reflection and self-assessment.

Having a strong sense of community is something that St Joseph’s prides itself on. There are many opportunities provided for the school community to gather together and these allow the students, teachers, parents and wider community to experience the essence of our motto. Relationships based on trust are highly evident and there is a strong connection across the school both among the students and the parents.
