St Joseph's Primary School is located in a beautiful native bushland setting in the south east of Sydney. Founded by the Presentation Sisters in 1953, the school is characterised by a positive, nurturing learning environment that strives for excellence in all facets of education and fosters the confidence, self-worth and integrity of each child.

Our school motto, “Love One Another", is central to all we do and is particularly evident in the respectful student-teacher relationships, student-student relationships and parent-teacher relationships. Differentiated learning programs cater for the diverse learning needs of the students.

Restorative Justice Principles underpin pastoral care programs. Strong student leadership is both encouraged and developed through specifically taught leadership programs that include “Peer Support" and “Buddies". The student voice is encouraged with emphasis placed upon developing capacity for active social justice, inspired by the teaching and modelling of Jesus Christ.

St Joseph's is a dynamic professional and contemporary learning community that incorporates the use of innovative technologies and education for a sustainable future. The school is highly regarded by the local community as a school of excellence. We are a two-stream school catering for boys and girls from Kindergarten through to Year 6.

St Joseph’s is a faith community committed to nurturing spiritual development, individual growth and quality education in partnership with parents. St Joseph’s Primary is a community that believes that Christ’s teachings, and the Gospel values on which our school is founded, offer hope and encouragement as we develop the full potential of each individual.

St Joseph’s is part of a school system that operates under the leadership and co-ordination of the Sydney Archdiocesan Catholic Schools Boards and Catholic Education Office. These organisations operate on behalf of Cardinal George Pell.
